Happy Friday!  I hope you had a wonderful week and are ready for the first weekend in June.  It certainly is starting to feel like summer, so I am excited to maybe go spend some time by the pool that just opened up for the season and enjoy a relaxing weekend.

Today I will be linking up with Heather and sharing some of the latest things I’ve been loving…..

Bai Bubbles

I have been a huge fan of Bai for awhile now and my friend Kelly told me that they made a sparkling lemon drink which I knew I had to find.  I found the lemon flavor at Target and it was delicious and refreshing!  I always have a Bai Bubbles when I’m craving something fizzy, they are a great alternative to soda and come in other flavors.  They also make fantastic drink mixers too 😉

Juli Bauer’s Paleo Cookbook

I by no means eat completely Paleo, because CARBS, but Juli’s Cookbook recipes are amazing and a great way to get in your protein!  The cookbook has over 100 paleo and gluten free recipes and the food photography is beautiful, don’t look at the book while hungry!  I have made a few recipes also from her website Paleomg and they were so delicious and unique I had to check out the other recipes in her book.  I am going excited to try the Buffalo Chicken Casserole and Breakfast Tacos from the book.

Landmine

I meet my husband after work to workout every so often and he recently showed me how to use a landline to squat, row, lunge, and press.  Simple way to get a total body workout without any machines or dumbbells, you just need the landline and a large weighted bar.  I was actually pretty surprised by how difficult it was to perform some of the moves and needless to say I was pretty sore the next day!

Bare Snacks

I picked up this bag of Bare Snack apple chips at Target.  I always look at labels of dried fruit, because many brands have added artificial ingredients and sugar, but the only ingredient in these snacks were apples!  And they were crunchy and delicious.  I have been eating them when I am craving something sweet or I top them on a chicken salad for something crunchy.  They also have other yummy snacks like baked banana chips I want to try.

My Nail Color

Got this gel manicure last week and obsessed with this color.  A middle school student of mine even went and got the same color after seeing mine, cool teacher win!  No idea what it’s called though…..

Quest Bars

Since becoming a Quest Ambassador and receiving many Quest Bars to try I have been loving having one after a workout or as an afternoon snack.  They are packed with protein and fiber to help keep me full until dinner.  And they taste like dessert, by far my favorite protein bar!  I highly recommend the cookie dough, smores, and cookies n’ cream flavors.

This literally makes me laugh every time I see it!

That exercise is so good! I always forget about it and then really feel the burn afterwards. One exercise I rediscovered this week was lunges. Being a runner, I don’t do too much strength work, but I see how beneficial it is (the bodyweight lunges made me sore!)
I want to get a dehydrator so I can make apple and banana chips. Super tasty!
