Friday!!! And a three day weekend in honor of MLK for many of you! Are you as excited as I am? This week has been hectic getting back into the swing of things after Holiday break. I am looking forward to a weekend of good workouts, yummy food, watching NFL football, and some relaxation. Follow along on Instagram. Now lets get to my Friday Favorites.
We have lived in our home for over three years and I still keep all of my spices in the two shoe boxes we moved them in with. I just haven’t been able to find the perfect way to organize them. Now I am loving these glass jars from Infinity Jars that come in many different styles and sizes. I usually buy certain spices in large amounts such as parsley, oregano, cinnamon, sea salt, and never have been able to find jars large enough to store them in. I am loving how easily my herbs fit in a 250 or 400 ML glass jar and how beautiful and organized they look in my cabinet.
I never thought much about preserving herbs properly, until a few months ago I noticed a dry herb blend looked, well extra, extra dry. Infinity Jars preserve dry herbs within the deep violet glass. The pigmented glass blocks out harmful visible light rays, while still permitting two beneficial light rays that extend the shelf life for up to two years.
Infinity Jars make a variety of bottles and jars to help preserve coffees, teas, cosmetics, nuts, oils, etc. All their jars have an airtight seal, ultra violet filtering, are scent-proof, and naturally preserve and rejuvenate freshness.
Dave’s Killer Bread
I bought this for my husband as he has two slices of toast with eggs or PB in the morning quite often. He wasn’t a fan of a lot of the Organic breads with all of the seeds so I was thrilled when I found this White Bread made with clean ingredients and full of fiber to help keep him fuller longer. He really enjoys it, which makes me happy that we were able to make the healthy swap for regular wheat bread. Don’t be fooled, a lot of store bought breads, even 100% whole wheat versions contain corn syrup and/or preservatives. For our diets I believe if it’s something we eat everyday I want to make sure it’s as clean as possible.
I was late in ordering so my planner just arrived this week. I am so excited to feel organized. I tried very unsuccessfully to use a digital planner, something about writing everything down. My sister used to work with the Erin Condran brand, so I have always been a fan of their customizable planners. Mine is the Mid-Century Circles Rose Design in Gold Metallic.
Underarmour Athlete Recovery Sleepwear
I haven’t tried these for myself, but heard about the New Underarmour Athlete Recovery Sleepwear line on the News. Tom Brady, who apparently goes to bed at 8:30 p.m. each night, is promoting the line that is supposedly proven to help you sleep better. While most nights I have no problem falling asleep the second my head hits the pillow, I would be interested in trying this sleep shirt and jogger pant combo.
Not to get too personal, but I can’t stand a stinky bathroom after a number 2. And Febreze and Glad products make me gag for some reason, maybe from after being used so much in college. I recently bought this Vanilla Tangerine Yankee Candle room spray and am loving how it immediately reduces odor in the bathroom. I have also been a fan of the Bath & Body works fresheners. For me it’s worth every penny to have one of these in every bathroom.
