Hello there and Happy Friday! Did you get a little taste of Winter in your area this week? It’s supposed to be cold and chances of snow here for most of the weekend so I’m sure I’ll be drinking warm beverages, eating comfort comfort foods, and budding up or spending cozy nights indoors. Be sure to follow all my weekend food, fitness, and fun on Instagram.
Since it’s the first week of 2017 I thought I would reflect back on 2016 blog posts. I feel like Sweet and Strong really started to grow throughout 2016 as I had more opportunities to work with brands, page views increased each month, I attended Blogfest, and by the end of the year I was consistently posting about twice a week. I hope to continue to see my blog grow throughout 2017 and would love for you to comment on what you would like to see more of, workouts, healthy recipes, favorite comfort foods, or more lifestyle tips. Let me know in the comments below! But now lets get to 2016’s most popular posts based on page views in each category: Food, Fitness, and Lifestyle.
Favorite Recipes:
I still eat this oatmeal almost daily and highly suggest it if you’re trying to increase your protein intake in the morning.
One of my favorite quick and easy dinner recipes that certainly does NOT lack in flavor!
Broccoli Slaw with Greek Yogurt Dressing
Love this healthy dressing and sweet and crunchy combo.
Favorite Workouts:
This workout requires no equipment, I often complete it on days I want to do more cardio or when traveling.
Ready for a complete LEG BURNER! Give this workout a try!
Totally Body Cardio and Strength Workout
This is a great workout when you need to be constantly changing moves. All the cardio and strength circuits make the time go by super fast.

What I Ate Wednesday on the 21 Day Fix
This past year I did my first 21 Day Fix and loved it so much I became a Beachbody Coach. I am so passionate about these programs and love the meal plan that goes along with them. You are certainly not lacking in food and have plenty of options for healthy meals.
Soul Cycle Class Review and Weekend Highlights
My Weekend Highlights posts are always very popular, in this weekend recap I talked about my first Soul Cycle experience and all the yummy food from the Weekend.
