Two words: Watermelon Frosé.  Do I need to say anything else?  The ultimate summer wine, aka Rosé turned into a frozen beverage perfect for cooling off on these hot days.  I’m so excited for you all to try this Watermelon Frosé recipe.

Watermelon Frosé aka Frozen Rosé. A refreshing Summer Cocktail.

After I made a batch of this Watermelon Frosé when my parents visited and shared a pic on Instagram I knew I needed to measure the ingredients and share it with you.  I used a few recipes from Pinterest for inspiration, but ended up creating my own.  Since my first batch I’ve made this Watermelon Frosé three other times, it’s so tasty.  My favorite way to enjoy is sipping by the pool with a good book, which seems to be what we’ve been doing every weekend.

Frozen Rosé with Watermelon Recipe

This recipe is so simple to make and only uses a few ingredients, but it does involve a little prepping.  You first need to slice and chop up a seedless watermelon into one inch cubes, store in a freezer bag, and place in your freezer for at least a few hours.  I usually like to do this part the night before.

Watermelon Frosé aka Frozen Rosé. A refreshing Summer Cocktail.

Then to make the Frosé you need a high powered blender, I use and LOVE my Vitamix.  Add the frozen watermelon, honey for a little sweetener, lime juice, and your favorite bottle of Rosé.  Then blend away.  I have to stop and mix up the ingredients a few times until all the frozen watermelon is blended.  Then pour into wine glasses and garnish with watermelon slices or fresh mint.  Oh and since this Frosé recipe is naturally sweetened with honey and watermelon is hydrating and full of vitamins and nutrients it’s totally healthy right!  Enjoy!

I do that all the time, measuring ingredients is something I never do when I’m not cooking for the blog specifically! This looks super refreshing!

Yes same, even when I’m measuring I feel like there’s so much room for leverage, esp when cooking. Baking maybe not so much.
