Happy Happy Friday!  Hope you had a great week and are ready for the weekend.  I don’t have too many weekend plans, but I am excited about visiting the Barry’s Bootcamp DC location on opening weekend Sunday.  Be sure to follow along on Instagram for all the food, fitness, and fun.  Now let’s get to all things I’ve loving lately for Friday Favorites.

Vital Proteins Matcha

I think this product really surprised and made everyone excited, because when you combine a trendy tea with collagen you get Vital Proteins New Matcha powder.  While I’m usually a coffee drinker in the morning, I’ve been switching it up a bit and mixing one scoop of Vital Proteins Matcha with hot water and a bit of honey for a warm beverage.

Vital Proteins Matcha Powder

The powder has 10 grams of collagen and matcha powder is naturally full of antioxidants (many more than traditional green tea) and also has almost as much caffeine as a cup of coffee.  You all know from previous Friday Favorites I’m a huge fan of and believer in Vital Proteins and they continue to wow me with great products.

Bolthouse Farms Plant Protein Milk

While my family was visiting over Thanksgiving I conveniently received a kind gift from Bolthouse Farms of their new Plant Protein Milks.  We used them in strawberry banana and green pear smoothies for a healthy breakfast for the whole family each morning.

Fall Green Pear Smoothie Recipe

The Plant Protein Milk is made from pea protein and filled with 10 grams of protein.  They are all also vegan, non-GMO, and free of dairy, lactose, nuts, soy, and gluten.  They come in four different varieties, Vanilla, Chocolate, Original, and Unsweetened.  And most importantly I really enjoyed the taste of each.  I’ve seen them at my local grocery store and be on the lookout for a giveaway on Instagram next week.

Did you read my CycleBar Class Review?  I literally used to HATE spin, I never felt like it was a challenging workout.  Until I started attending classes like CyclerBar.  Somewhere between the dark lights, challenging hills, speeds, and fun music I fell in love with spin.  I challenge everyone to always give new workout classes a try, you never know what you might like.

Tis the Season for all the Holiday treats right!  Last weekend I made two batches of these Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Snickerdoodles.  They were amazing, like chocolate chip cookie meets snickerdoodle, so chewy and delicious.  I forgot to take any photos but figured I’d share the recipe in case you want to add them to holiday baking list.

Holiday Gift Guides

I’ve already started to see many Holiday Gift Guides all over blogs, here are a few of my favs:

Julie’s Gifts That Give Back List

Sally’s Gifts for the Baker

I have several friends who are new mom’s so I love these ideas from Ashley’s New Mom Gift Guide.

And I plan to share one next week, so stay tuned.

That’s it for this week.  Feel free to join in the comments and tell me something you’re loving lately and have a great weekend!

Yes the chcolate one is my favorite, I love that you don’t need to add any powder. Just drink them as they are or use as a smoothie base.
