Need some meal and workout ideas? Here is my food and fitness week in review for the week of June 3rd through June 8th 2018. Be sure to read previous Food and Fitness Week in Review’s here and tell me in the comments below your favorite meal or workout from the week!
Last week was a crazy busy week as I had work, plus hair and nail appointments, and errands all in preparation for one of my best friends weddings over the weekend. I was trying to be present and in the moment, so I was away from my phone for most of the weekend and didn’t capture too many foodie pics. So sorry you’ll just have to imagine some of these meals.
Weekly Menu Recap:
Monday: Salmon with a dairy-free pesto from the How Not to Die Cookbook with roasted potatoes and veggies
Tuesday: Baked Chicken, potatoes, and veggies
Wednesday: Breakfast for dinner, eggs, potatoes, veggies, and bacon. And I was needing an extra little treat to help me through the week so we went to SweetFrog for dessert that night.
Thursday: My Fried Cauliflower Rice with Ground Turkey (I then froze leftovers to meal prep for the next week)
Friday: Rehearsal Dinner at Pint House, pizza, chicken tenders, and salad
Saturday: Wedding! They had food stations; Sliders, a Greek Station, and Charcuterie Station, I pretty much had a few bites from each. Plus an Ice Cream Sundae Bar for Dessert
Dress // Shoes
Sunday: The wedding was in Columbus and it was about a 7 hour drive back to MD so we stopped for some Urban BBQ on the way home.
Weekly Workout Recap
Monday: 30 Minutes of Insanity Max 30
Tuesday: Taught a one hour BodyPump class
Wednesday: Did one hour of lower body exercises such as squats, split squats, deadlifts, glute bridges, and step ups
Thursday: Taught a 45-minute BodyPump class
Saturday: Danced at the Wedding (counts as a workout right)
Not gonna lie, it was really hard for me to take three days off in a row, but with all the traveling I knew my body needed some rest. But I was definitely ready to get back at it start this week.
Thanks for reading the blog today, have a great rest of your week!
