Oh what a week it’s been. With the 4th holiday and Tom being home more from work there was a mix of meals out, BBQ’s at friends houses, and lots of dessert. All balanced out with smoothies and veggies though of course 🙂
Weekly Menu Recap:
Monday: Leftover BBQ Pulled Pork and Roasted Vegetables
Tuesday: Ground Beef Tacos using these Siete Almond Flour Tortillas
Wednesday: Burger, Pasta Salad, Green Salad, and these White Chocolate Marshmallow Popcorn Treats at a friends cookout
Thursday: Pizza Night at Casey Jones Restaurant
Friday: Yogurt Marinated Grilled Chicken Skewers with roasted broccoli and rice
Saturday: Brisket, pasta salad, beans at a graduation party
Sunday: Copycat Nando’s Peri-Peri Chicken with roasted brussels sprouts and cilantro lime rice and B. Doughnuts for dessert
Weekly Workout Recap
My lower back pain has been feeling much better, but still not 100% so to avoid hurting it more I took it easy on the workouts for another week. I used low weights when teaching classes and did yoga twice for some stretching.
Monday: Run/Walk on the treadmill followed by some planks and stretching
Tuesday: Taught a one hour BodyPump Class
Wednesday: Took a Yoga Class at World Gym
Thursday: Taught a one hour BodyPump Class
Friday: Took a Yoga class at Live Out Loud
Saturday: Did an Upper Body Circuit
Sunday: 1.2 mile walk
