Hello there! Us teachers have headed back to school here in southern MD this week. That means after this Week in Review dinners will be quick and easy meals or something I prep ahead of time to save time after school. And as Summer comes to an end we’re trying to think of all the meals we can grill or smoke while the weather is still nice out.
Weekly Menu Recap:
Monday: Greek Turkey Meatballs with Zucchini Noodles
Tuesday: Fall Harvest Salad Bowls
Wednesday: Blackened Salmon with Roasted Vegetables
Thursday: Chicken Apple Sausage, Brussels, and Sweet Potato Breakfast Bowls
Friday: Ground Beef Bolognese from the freezer
Saturday: Appetizers out at Gillighans Pier
Sunday: Paleo Seasoned BBQ Chicken on the Traeger with Roasted Vegetables
And desserts were Flourless Oatmeal Raisin Banana Cookies and my Chocolate Chip Cookies over the weekend.
Weekly Workout Recap:
Pretty similar schedule to last week. Except I did a solo weight training session on Saturday morning and definitely missed the vibes from group fitness room.
Monday: Taught a 45 minute Cardio Conditioning Class
Tuesday: Taught a one hour BodyPump Class
Wednesday: Taught a 30 minute Total Body Weight Training class
Thursday: Took a one hour Yoga class and took a 2 mile walk
Friday: 2 mile run/walk followed by some stretching
Saturday: Did a lower body workout with dumbbells
Sunday: Took a 2 mile walk
