Every time I check social media, watch the news, or read a health article there is always a new trend when it comes to wellness. It might be something like buudabomb red rasberry gummies to help manage your stress levels and aid sleep. It might be the inclusion of several superfoods or intense workout classes in your weekly routine. The list goes on, and sometimes it really can be super simple to live a healthy lifestyle. Today I’m sharing a few of my favorite simple ways to boost your wellness routine.
Take a Vitamin
Before, throughout, and after my pregnancy I took a prenatal vitamin and DHA supplement. I had never really strictly taken a vitamin before in my life but really wanted to make sure I was getting all the nutrients for myself and my baby girl. You can get plenty of nutrients through food, but it’s nearly impossible to get all the vitamins and minerals you need in a day. Which is why I love Nature Made products, which can be found by clicking the image below.
Walmart is the best place to find a variety of Nature Made vitamins and minerals. Something Walmart shoppers may notice is Nature Made products are now in a yellow-colored cap versus blue. So, look for the new look, Nature Made yellow which now stands out on the shelf and online to help customers find the products they want.
Two new Nature Made products worth supplementing a healthy diet with are: Nature Made Burp-Less Omega-3 from Fish Oil 600 mg Softgels, 230ct for Heart Health and Nature Made Vitamin D3 50 mcg (2000 IU) Softgels, 260ct Everyday Value for Bone Health.
All Nature Made products can still be found in the vitamin aisle and online at walmart.com and although the look of Nature Made has changed, the value is still the same.
Walk Outside or Meditate
Taking a morning or afternoon work has helped me set my intentions for the day or clear my head. The same can be done with meditation, I just prefer the movement and enjoy time listening to nature or a podcast. Either method is a simple way to boost your wellness routine because we often forget the mind, body, spirit, part of a healthy wellness routine.
Put the Phone Down
Simply putting your phone down for just an hour can let you focus on other tasks or help be more engaged when socializing. Let yourself be in the moment without worrying about getting calls, texts, or social media updates.
Drink More Water
Such a simple way to boost your wellness routine. Rather than setting a specific amount of water to drink each day, focus on the frequency. Staying hydrated will give you energy and help your body decipher hunger from thirst. Not to mention all the benefits from drinking water period.
To me wellness means keeping it simple, eating real foods, moving your body, taking time for yourself, adding supplements when needed, and of course occasionally giving into things your body needs/craves whether it be a rest day or sweet treat.
