Wahoo it’s Friday! And the last full week of work before my favorite holiday, Thanksgiving! Do you have your Turkey Day menu set? I’m excited to have family coming in to visit us and help with the cooking. It’s going to be a team dinner production and I can’t wait! But now it’s time for all things I’ve been loving lately including my Three Ingredient Salsa Chicken, a Facebook Beauty Event, and other Friday Favorites.
Three Ingredient Salsa Chicken Recipe
If you follow me on Instagram you may (or may not, thanks Instagram algorithm) have seen this post where I shared a super simple Three Ingredient Salsa Chicken Recipe. Literally just chicken breasts, taco seasoning, and a jar of salsa. I make my own taco seasoning in bulk following the seasoning blend in this recipe. And use your favorite salsa, I like finding one with no sugar or preservatives, Frontera is a great brand that can be found in most stores.
Gift Clean & Be Merry Beauty Event
As you may have read back in last weeks Friday Favorites I have recently became a Beautycounter consultant selling my favorite clean skincare and make-up products. Next week I’m hosting an online event where you’ll get to learn about clean beauty, hear about Beautycounter holiday gift sets and best selling products, and be entered in a chance to win a few prizes. If you would like me to add you to the event just click this link here. I’d love for you to join us!
New Local Ice Cream Shop
Those of you local to Southern MD even though the cooler temps are most likely here to stay, you MUST make a trip to Landon’s Homemade Ice Cream in La Plata on Charles Street. Tom, Audrina and I went last week and we had a nice quiet little date night and ate delicious ice cream. They have so many flavors I want to try but I went with the honey vanilla and chocolate chocolate chip. The store is also decorated super cute. I can’t wait to take my family here when they visit this week.
Audrina is 7 Months
Of course after writing about the first five weeks with a newborn I had EVERY intention of writing a monthly update on Audrina. But time flies and somehow now she’s 7 months. I am LOVING this stage; the giggles, constant movement, the discovering the world around her, and she is literally doing something new everyday. She has my whole heart.
Thursday we had a 7 month doctor appointment and she also got her flu shot booster. After we treated ourselves to Marie’s Diner food, our post doctor visit tradition we started back when I was pregnant.
That’s it for this week. I hope you all have a great weekend and be sure to come back next week where I’ll be sharing some great Beautycounter Black Friday Deals along with other Friday Favorites.
