Grandma's Pancake Recipe

Easy home made pancake recipe.
Serves: 8
  • 2 cups flour
  • 6 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups milk (the fattier the tastier)
  • ⅓ cup canola oil
  • ⅓ cup chocolate chips (optional)
  • butter
  1. Sift or whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  2. Beat the eggs, milk, and canola oil.
  3. Add the dry ingredients to the egg mixture and beat well.
  4. Heat a griddle or pan until it's hot. Add a little bit of butter to the pan until melted.
  5. Pour about ½ cup of pancake batter onto the hot griddle or pan. Watch carefully, bake for about 1 minute or until the bubbles on the top of the pancake start to burst then flip and cook for an additional minute or two.
