Simple oatmeal combination that will keep you full throughout a busy morning.

  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • 2 egg whites or 3 tbsp liquid eggs
  • 2-3 tsp nut butter (I like almond butter)
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ¾ cup almond milk, add more after you cook the oats depending upon how creamy you like your oatmeal.
  1. Combine all ingredients in a microwave safe bowl and stir together.
  2. Microwave on high for 2-4 minutes stirring once or twice until desired consistency. Add more milk if you like it creamy.
  3. Additional toppings: Fresh fruit, drizzle of honey, a few mini chocolate chips.
